NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's cross country team has been ranked No. 3 in the region in the preseason rankings released by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association earlier today.

The Owls open the 2011 season on Sept. 2 at the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devil Invitational.
