NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University Athletic Department, in conjunction with SIDEARM Sports, has formally launched its newly redesigned athletic website. The department originally partnered up with SS in the fall of 2007 on a complete website relaunch and redesign of www.southernctowls.com. Since the formal relaunch on Jan. 2, 2008, there have been more than 5 million hits to the website.

“Our newly redesigned athletics website continues to accurately reflect the outstanding efforts of our student-athletes, coaches and staff, while providing a clean, crisp tool for all of our constituents to follow Southern Connecticut athletics,” said Director of Athletics Patricia D. Nicol.

New features to the newly redesigned site includes additional social media options, video clips and headers for all team pages and the homepage.

Founded in 1996 by Jeff Rubin, Syracuse, N.Y. based SIDEARM Sports, Inc. has spent the past 15 years providing clients with innovative technological solutions for their web needs. Since its founding, SS has pioneered technologies in web design, content management systems, e-commerce solutions, and many other areas.

SS has a client list that includes more than 450 athletic clients from around the country and Canada including Cornell University, Davidson College, Drexel University, Eastern Michigan University, Eastern Illinois University, the University of Hawai'i, Ithaca College, Syracuse University and many other NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA and collegiate conferences.
