Connecticut high school track and field athletes posted several personal bests at conference championships during the week of May 25.
Ruger Wojchowski (East Hampton) ran 11.13 in the 100 meters at the Shoreline Conference Outdoor Track Championship on May 26, dropping from his previous best of 11.51. The senior ranks #72 in Connecticut and placed fifth of 38 competitors. Wojchowski also set a PR in the 200 meters, improving from 23.54 to 23.26.
Camilla Murphy (Sacred Heart Academy, Hamden) clocked 2:18.17 in the 800 meters at the SCC Outdoor Championships on May 26, improving from her previous mark of 2:24.00. The time breaks the Sacred Heart Academy school record and ranks #11 in the state. Murphy finished second of 22 competitors.
Charlotte Baldieri (Jonathan Law, Milford) ran 12.55 in the 100 meters at the SCC Outdoor Championships on May 26, improving from 12.97. The senior ranks #38 in Connecticut and #11 among seniors, placing seventh of 22 competitors.
Evan Lennon (Amity, Woodbridge) ran 15.45 in the 110-meter hurdles at the SCC Outdoor Championships on May 26, dropping from 16.10. The time ranks #31 in Connecticut and earned Lennon third place among 20 competitors.
J'Vier Paulino (CREC Academy of Science, New Britain) clocked 11.23 in the 100 meters at the GHC Outdoor Track & Field Championship on May 26, improving from 11.59. The time sets a CREC Academy of Science school record and ranks #95 in the state. Paulino placed fourth of 38 competitors and also ran a PR of 23.44 in the 200 meters, improving from 23.49.
Mikayla Medley (Hartford Public) ran 12.98 in the 100 meters at the GHC Outdoor Track & Field Championship on May 26, improving from 13.34 set in May 2026. The senior ranks #99 in Connecticut and #28 among seniors, finishing 10th of 33 competitors.
Addisyn Massey (The Morgan School, Clinton) won the 100 meters at the Shoreline Conference Outdoor Track Championship on May 26 in 12.62, improving from 13.11. The freshman ranks #44 in Connecticut and #1 among freshmen, winning among 28 competitors. Massey also ran a PR of 26.04 in the 200 meters, improving from 26.15.
