NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Justin Escaravage (Brookfield, Conn.) and senior Jason Polakowski (Essex Junction, Vt.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team both took part in the decathlon during day one of the New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday. Each registered five personal-best marks during the day's action. Escaravage currently sits in second place, while Polakowski is seventh.

Day two action will kick off at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Jess Dow Field.
