NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Diwani Augustine (East Hartford, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team was named Co-Field Athlete of the Week along with Corey Thomas from Stonehill by the Northeast-10 Conference for his performance at the Yale Springtime Invite. Jared Dixon (Middle Village, N.Y.) and Logan Sharpe (Esperance, N.Y.) join their fellow teammate with weekly honor roll selections.

Augustine finished first in both the long jump and the triple jump on Sunday. His leap in the long jump was 7.15 meters and placed him 23rd on the Division II leader board. He is now ranked 19th nationally in the triple jump for his mark of 14.63 meters.

Sharpe finished first in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 52.81 at the Yale Springtime Invite. With this run, he claims the 10th fastest time in Division II.

Dixon claimed top honors in the high jump with a height cleared of 2.12 meters at Yale this weekend. His achievement was good enough to hold the No. 6 spot in the nation.

The Owls will be back in action this weekend to defend their Northeast-10 Conference Championship on May 6-7.
