NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Freshman Enis Bukalo (Derby, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Outdoor Field Rookie of the Week. In addition, senior Casey Canada (Royal, Ark.) has been named to the league's weekly honor roll.

Bukalo won the discus with a throw of 45.43 meters and placed third in the shot put with a throw of 15.06 meters at the Ramapo Roadrunner Express meet over the weekend.

Canada captured the 400 meters with a time of 54.77 seconds at Ramapo. He also took second in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.37 seconds.

The Owls are back in action this weekend for the Penn Relays.
