NEW HAVEN Conn. – Two members of the Southern Connecticut State University women's outdoor track and field team – junior Ashley Bell (Riverhead, N.Y.) and senior Courtni Walker (Uniondale, N.Y.) - have been selected to the Northeast-10 Conference weekly honor roll. The duo both put forth fine efforts at the Roadrunner Express meet over the weekend.

Bell won both the 100 (12.21) and 200 meter dashes (25.53) at the event, while also running a leg of the 4x100 relay that set a new school record in the process with a time of 46.55 seconds.

Walker claimed first place in the long jump with a leap of 5.42 meters. She also ran a leg of the 4x100 relay that set a new school record in the process with a time of 46.55 seconds.

The Owls are back in action this weekend for the Penn Relays.
