Stenson Jean-Baptiste helped the men's outdoor track team claim second at day two of the Larry Ellis Invite on Saturday.

Day Two Meet Results

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team competed on day two of the Larry Ellis Invitational in Princeton, N.J. on Saturday, Apr. 23. Each member that competed achieved an NCAA provisional mark in their respective event.

Patrick Waszczak (Colchester, Conn.) was tied for second in the pole vault with members from such schools as Rutgers, Army, and Princeton. His height cleared of 4.95 meters is good enough to rank No. 8 on the NCAA Division II national leaderboard.

The Owls' 4x400 meter relay team relay finished second with a team make up of Logan Sharpe (Esperance, N.Y.), Stenson Jean-Baptiste (Stratford, Conn.), Twayne Forth (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.). Their time was 3:12.11 and good enough to meet an NCAA provisional mark.

The Owls will be back in action next Sunday at the Yale Springtime Invitational on May 1st.
