NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team dropped one spot to No. 23 in the nation for this week selected by the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Owls are also ranked atop the NCAA Division II East Region rankings.

The Owls are coming off an indoor season where they captured their 17th consecutive indoor and outdoor Northeast-10 Conference Championship and sent numerous athletes to the NCAA Championships.

The Owls will be back in action next weekend when they travel to the New Brunswick, N.J. for the Metropolitan Championships on Apr. 15-16.
