Samantha Spindel claimed fourth in the hammer throw at day two of the Sam Howell Invitational.
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's outdoor track and field team competed in day two of the Sam Howell Invitational held today. Samantha Spindel (Brewster, N.Y.) took fourth in the hammer throw with a distance of 52.52 meters.

Freshman Tanaye White finished sixth in the long jump with a leap of 5.13 meters.

Aubrey Dowding (Warwick, R.I.), Ourania Bletsas (Easton, Conn.), and Taylor Barone (New Haven, Conn.) claimed places six through nine with throws of 35.39, 35.07, and 32.11 meters, respectively.

The Owls will be back in action next weekend when they travel to the Brown Invitational in Providence, Rhode Island Apr. 10th.
