Nicolas Fedor took 10th in the hammer toss at day two of the Sam Howell Invitational.
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team competed in day two of the Sam Howell Invitational held today. Jared Dixon (Middle Village, N.Y.) claimed the top spot in the high jump with a height of six feet, 6.25 inches. Diwani Augustine (East Hartford, Conn.) finished first in the triple jump with a distance of 14.63 meters.

Enis Bukalo (Derby, Conn.) finished second in the shot put with a heave of 15.85 meters.

A.J. Guerra (Stafford Springs, Conn.) finished fifth in the hammer toss with a distance of 56.83 meters. This was a NCAA provisional mark. Nicolas Fedor (Bethany, Conn.) took 10th with a throw of 52.03 meters.

Akeem Elliott (Greater Portmore, Jamaica) took fourth in the long jump with a distance of 6.74 meters.

Joseph Ales (Trumbull, Conn.) finished 10th in the javelin throw with a distance of 48.62 meters.

Patrick Waszczak (Colchester, Conn.) and Nelson Laskoski (Pomfret, Conn.) finished sixth and ninth in the pole vault with heights cleared of 4.60 and 4.40 meters respectively.

The Owls will be back in action next weekend when they travel to the Brown Invitational in Providence, Rhode Island Apr. 10th.
