RALEIGH, N.C. - Freshman A.J. Guerra (Stafford Springs, Conn.) placed fifth in the hammer throw to lead the Southern Connecticut State University men's outdoor track and field team at day two of the Raleigh Relays on Saturday. Guerra's heave of 55.32 meters placed him ahead of competitors from the likes of Duke, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Boston College, Virginia and Pittsburgh.
