The distance medley relay team placed second and their time of 11:51.51 was good enough to break a school record and rank as the seventh fastest time in Division II this year.

Freshman Titilayo Vanriel (Hartford, Conn.) followed suit running a time of 2:13.96 in the 800 meters ranking her the 11th fastest student-athlete on the NCAA Division II national leader board in this event.

The Owls look to continue to finish well tomorrow on day two of the New England Championships held in Boston, Mass.
