NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior Nana Ocran (Manchester, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's indoor track and field team was selected to the Northeast-10 weekly honor roll this week for his performance at the league championships last week.

Ocran ran a time of 6.43 to claim the top spot in the 55 meter dash. He also helped the 4x400 meter relay team to a second place finish, just six-hundredths of a second off the lead with a time of 3:21. Ocran is also part of the 4x400 relay team that holds the fifth best time in the nation, 3:13.62, achieved at the Valentine Invitational.

The Owls are back in action this weekend at the New England Championships when they travel to Boston, Mass. The meet is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
