NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Kimberly Johnson (Lisbon, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's indoor track and field team has been selected for the Northeast-10 weekly honor roll for her performance at the league Championships held last week.

Johnson boosted an impressive mark in the pole vault to break a previous Northeast-10 Conference Championship meet record by two inches set in 2006. She cleared a height of 11 feet 11.25 inches to claim the top spot.

With this feat, Johnson is ranked 12th on the NCAA Division II National Leader Board.
The Owls are back in action this weekend at the New England Championships when they travel to Boston, Mass. The meet is scheduled to start at 12 p.m.
