Selasi Lumax ran a leg of the 4x400 meter relay that placed third at the Valentine Invitational
Men's Track Meet Results

BOSTON, Mass. – The Southern Connecticut State University men's track and field team competed in the second day of the Valentine Invitational at Boston University this Saturday. Leading the way, Logan Sharpe (Esperance, N.Y.) finished 10th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 48.35, while also running the first leg of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished less than two seconds off the leader in third place.

The 4x400 meter relay team consisted of Sharpe, Stenson Jean-Baptiste (Stratford, Conn.), Nana Ocran (Manchester, Conn.), Selasi Lumax (Somerset, N.J.) running a 3:13.62 time. This team currently ranks ninth among the NCAA Division II national leaders for the 4x400 meter dash with a time set back on Jan. 28. at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships.

Junior Corey De La Cruz placed 16th running a 1:52.82 in the 800 meter finishing within the top handful of NCAA Division II student-athletes.

The Owls are back in action Thursday looking to capture a conference championship at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships held in Boston, Mass.
