BOSTON – The distance medley relay team of Jaclyn Sullivan (Lisbon, Conn.), Brittany Niemczyk (Vernon, Conn.), Titilayo Vanriel (Hartford, Conn.) and Alasia Griebel (Bristol, Conn.) placed eighth in that event with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 11:59.71 to lead the way for the Southern Connecticut State University women's indoor track and field team during day two action at the Valentine's Invitational on Saturday. The time was the seventh fastest in Division II this season.

The Owls return to action on Thursday for the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.
