Ivaneshka Rios (Platt, Meriden) won the girls' 200 meters in 26.94 at Platt vs. Plainville on April 21, improving from her previous best of 37.34. The junior's time ranks #59 in Connecticut and #5 among state juniors.
Soham Chakraborty (Xavier, Middletown) clocked 11.44 to win the boys' 100 meters at Hillhouse at Mercy/Xavier on April 21, dropping from his previous personal record of 12.03 set in April 2026. The time places him #101 in the state rankings.
Isaiah Cajou (Norwich Free Academy) ran 23.44 to take first in the boys' 200 meters at Fitch at NFA on April 22, bettering his previous mark of 24.74. The time moves him to #113 in Connecticut's 200-meter rankings.
Sarah Alamu (Naugatuck) cleared 5-6 to win the girls' high jump at Seymour vs. Naugatuck on April 21, improving from her previous best of 4-10.
