NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's track and field team is ranked first in the United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division II East Regional rankings. The Owls, who were previously ranked No. 2, surpassed UMass-Lowell for the current week. This is the second time in three weeks that the Owls hold the top spot. 

The Owls will be back in action this Thursday for the Manhattan/Fordham Tri-Meet at Manhattan, scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
