NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Brittany Niemczyk (Vernon, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's indoor track and field team has been selected for the weekly honor roll by the Northeast-10 Conference. She had strong finishes in two events at the Gigengack Invitational at Yale. 

Niemczyk was the top finishing NCAA Division II athlete (fourth overall) in the pole vault with a height of 10 feet, 10 inches. She also competed in the 60 meter hurdles, placing 22nd with a time of 9.90. 

The Owls are scheduled to attend the Manhattan/Fordham Tri-Meet at Manhattan this Thursday.
