This Week's Nominees:
Alexandra Lockwood, Fairfield Ludlowe (Connecticut): Put up a 41-3.5 at Nike Indoor Nationals in the shot put, breaking her PR of 40-6.75 set last month at the FCIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Kaylin Diglio, Guilford High School (Connecticut): Cleared 12-0.25 in the pole vault at Nike Indoor Nationals, ranking #23 nationally and #1 among sophomores nationwide. She leads Connecticut among sophomores in the 55m hurdles based on her earlier season best of 8.85.
DAsia Duncan, Bloomfield High School (Connecticut): Jumped 17-7.75 in the long jump at New Balance Nationals Indoor, a new PR improving from 17-7.25 set in December. She also cleared 5-2 in the high jump at the same meet.
Julia Gootman, Sheehan High School (Connecticut): Clocked 7.52 in the 55 meters at Nike Indoor Nationals, ranking her #5 among Connecticut juniors in the event.
