Class MM's Top Teams
The MM class is not very deep this year and we need to make some assumptions to fill out a number of the teams here. Top rated Avon won the CCC - B championship over Southington led by Jack Martin's 2nd place, and though he is back and is the reigning MM champ from 2019, only two other Falcons from last year's CCC race are also returning. East Lyme won the 2019 MM championship over Avon and has that meet's runner-up Luke Anthony to lead the team and two more Vikings from that title group that placed 11th in the Open. No results are available from last year for Old Lyme, so we are just assuming that a strong team will again be assembled.
As to the 5K time average for the three MM schools noted below, Guilford and Daniel Hand finished 2nd and 3rd in the SCC championship merged results and have a lot of runners back though they both also suffered some key losses. Notre Dame's time average came from a dual meet where all the runners clocked in about 45 seconds better than they did in the SCC meet where the Green Knights finished 8th behind two seniors.
