NCRunners Elite To Add Middle School Races In 2019

Register for the NCRunners Elite XC Invitational

NCRunners Elite XC Invitational at Ivey Redmon Sports Complex is set to host a middle school race for the first time in event history.

The middle schools will have a 2 mile race after the Frosh/Soph and Open race starting at 12:40 for boys, and 1:10 for girls.

The meet will serve as the Unofficial middle School State Championship, just as our Frosh/Soph race serves as the Unofficial JV State Championship.  The event will also allow middle school athletes to run on the NCHSAA State Championship course prior to entering high school.

The top 10 individuals and the top 2 teams in the middle school race will receive awards.

The cost will be $30 for a single gender team, and $50 for a boys and girls team for the middle school races.  Athletes can travel unattached with the cost being $10 per athlete.

Team scores will be kept, so similar to the NCRunners Middle School Elite Track Invitational, if you want your team scored but are not allowed to travel due to country restrictions reach out to us and we can help you register as a club instead of a middle school.  Then all scores will be in tact for your squad.

6th, 7th and 8th graders are eligible to compete as long as your county allows it.

If you have any questions on the event reach out to youtzr@gmail.com and ncmilesplit@gmail.com.  If you need help on the registration side of the event please contact jason.creasy11@gmail.com.

Additional meet information can be found on the meet page.
