Curtis Thompson was eager for another workout after winning the Jr. Nationals javelin first thing in the morning. The Mississippi State freshman, who was third at NCAAs, took sixth in the Senior Natls event. He threw nearly identical marks of 237-4 and 237-8 in both competitions.
