Marshfield finished third in the Championships DMR to highlight Day 1 of the Yale Track Classic. The Rams clocked a time of 10:34.73, an effort that ranks No. 16 in the country. Marshfield's anchor Derek Holmes anchored his teammates to their top placement with a 4:19 mile. Melrose placed eighth in the race with a solid time of 10:42.45.
In the girls' Championship DMR, Woburn took ninth overall with a time of 12:32.69 (US #24).
