Murray, Saidman take prize at Nonnewaug Invite

Immaculate High made it a clean sweep of the top three placements in the girls' race of the Nonnewaug Invitational on Friday.

Angela Saidman earned individual honors with a time of 18 minutes, 29.28 seconds. Finishing second was Jenna Gasparrini in 18:32.67. Danielle Marcone was third at 19:07.45.

In the boys' race, Cheshire's Brendan Murray beat defending champion, Jonathan Davis of New Milford, with a winning time of 15:59.21. Davis was timed in 16:20.25 for runner-up honors.
