Thursday's action at Franklin Field

  • Loomis Chafee finished first in its heat of the 4x100 with the foursome of Charlot Gacek, Greer Davis, Natasha Otton and Denver Williams combining for a time of 51.65. Hotchkiss was second in the heat with a time of 53.28 and Hopkins placed seventh at 57.83.
  • In the 400m hurdles, Hillhouse's Jaliyah White was 17th overall with a 1:05.39 clocking.
  • After leading for the first half of the race, Staples' Hannah DeBalsi eventually placed sixth in the 3,000m with a time of 9:51.33.
  • In its heat of the 4x400m relay, Bloomfield was sixth with a time of 4:08.77. Tashay Roberts had the fastest split of the foursome with a time of 1:01.51. Teammate Jahleah Harris was timed in 1:01.71.
  • Loomis Chafee led a 1-2-3 sweep for Connecticut in its heat with a 4:13.10 clocking. The Windsor school's top leg was anchor Denver Williams, who ran 1:00.10. Hotchkiss was second at 4:14.01 and Hopkins was third in 4:15.55.
  • Staples' Elizabeth Knoll placed seventh in the high jump with a leap of 5-4.25.
